Frequently Asked Questions

Remote Virtual Assistants in meeting for health and wellness professionals

I have never have a VA, how do I get started?

Great question! Many clients I provide services for have never had a VA before. Once you reach out to me, I will reply within 24 business hours. We will set up a Discovery Call where we can chat over a free 30 minute call to go over your practice and business goals. If our goals align and you would like to move forward with my services, I will send you a contract as well as a comprehensive questionnaire to go over your clinic in full as well as your current workflows. Upon signing and completing my questionnaire, we will schedule our first onboarding call and begin the training process.

What EMR/EHR's are you trained in?

I am currently fully trained in the following EMR's: Jane App, Practice Better, Practice Fusion, Elation,  Owl, IntakeQ, Optimantra, and Charm.

What are your top tasks you can help me with?

Common tasks I help my clients with are: email management, patient scheduling, invoicing and payments, direct billing, document creation, data entry, content creation and scheduling, social media engagement, patient recalls, creating blog posts for your website, faxing, calling and sending in prescriptions, creating lab requisitions, and tracking lab results.

What type of health practitioners do you have experience with?

I have experience working with a wide variety of health practitioners including Naturopathic Doctors, Medical Doctors, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Nurse Practitioners, Psychotherapists, Nurse Practitioners, and more!

How do you manage working for multiple VA clients?

Organization and time management! My Google Calendar is my BFF. I spread out my day with morning, afternoon, and end of day check-ins for my administrative clients. Each morning, each of my clients will get one check in 2-3 times per day depending on their package. Instead of checking in several times per day, this helps me utilize my time more efficiently making sure each client gets 100% of my attention.

I already have an in-office admin, can a VA still help my clinic?

Absolutely! Vas are often integrated into busy clinical teams. Clinics assign different tasks to each VA based on the clinic’s specific needs.
